(NASCAR) Is this true about Toyota's longer engine block?
I keep reading blogs and would like to know where they found this so that I could post it for the whole world to know!
The Toyota engine has the Nascar mandated 4.5 inch bore centers as does the Chevrolet R07. The two engines are within 1/2 inch in length. The only advantage a longer block would give is wider bore centers and they are not allowed.
