I was told remote control starters can damage your Chevrolet deisel engine. By a G.M. Dealership. It was said because of the glow plugs being on due to the key has to be in the ignition for the remote control starter to work. Does anyone no if this

The problem is the glow plugs need to come on for a set amount of time before you crank the engine over. This is to warm up the combustion chamber. You want to look for a remote starter that is meant to work with diesel engines, they should have a circuit
